Valentin Selezynov

OK, you had another bad day at work and ran out of Paul Fetch video to help you relax and laugh. Nothing is lost. Head to http://www.valentinselezynov.com/.

The website is made by a Scientology ex-member who campaigns for the return of Alaska to Russia, claims that the moon has been artificially created 4.6 billion years ago, and protests the possible ban of Scientology in Germany claiming it is a "thought genocide". The last bit could be argued (and I kind of agree), but the two others are weird, to say the least.

Nothing beats however, the biography. He starts off by stating "I'M amazing", then continues by claiming that the advent of his birth overshadows the explosion of Challenger that happened the same year ("a small price to pay for the advances in understanding the Universe Valentin would bring the world"), and ends up revealing his plan to create his own religion, based around the unnatural origins of the Moon.

Make sure to check his blog at http://www.valentinselezynov.com/2008_05_01_archive.html, including the video and the sexual fantasy at the bottom of the page - it's a hoot!

The White Rose

Anti-Scientologists have loads of videos hailing the Anonymous movement as a courageous stand against oppression, like when they compare themselves with the German White Rose movement who stood up to Nazi Germany in 1942. They don't realize that there is a HUGE difference between the two. The White Rose movement was that of a tiny minority who put their life on the line against an oppressive majority. The Anonymous movement is that of a majority basically stalking a tiny minority.

Jason Beghe Not Celebrity Enough?

Jason Beghe, the first celebrity Scientologist who noisily defected may be a celebrity but apparently he was never considered celebrity enough to appear on the Celebrity Scientologists blog as can be seen checking back up to 2004 through the Wayback Machine. He may have appeared through other Scientology media though.

Usher is reportedly the latest celebrity to jump aboard the Scientology bandwagon.

Paul Fetch - self-proclaimed "Leader of Anonymous"

If you are tired after a long day work and want some pure entertainment that would send you rolling on the floor laughing, watch the self-appointed "Leader of Anonymous" Paul Fetch in the video where he claims that helicopters are flying around his house and even that a jet just missed him... That guy is a complete lunatic that has as much to do with Anonymous as an ant has to do with the Queen of England. Nevertheless, it's hilarious, though it is not meant to be.

Scientology Blogs

Did I mention already that if you want to read Scientologists' blogs, the best way is to subscribe to the "Scientology Blogosphere's shared items" blogs. They'll do the work for you. The one blog that is not included, that I know, is the excellent "Scientology myths" blog, because it openly inter-act with critics.

Texas court made brave ruling on FLDS kids

Legal analyst Susan Filan agrees with the Court that taking the children away from the Yearning For Zion Ranch on spurious anti-cult claims was wrong. She writes:
"Without proving immediate harm, the seizure of virtually all the children is merely a condemnation of this religious sect for their beliefs ... Religious beliefs cannot be the basis for governmental child snatching. Rather, that is a prescription for religious persecution."

Schoolboy avoids prosecution for branding Scientology a 'cult'

The teenager who was facing legal action for calling the Church of Scientology a "cult" has been told he will not be taken to court.
